• MALAGA – WCO-IOF-ESCEO 14.–17. 4. 2016 |
This year's WCO-IOF-ESCEO Congress took place in Malaga, a beautiful town along the southern coast of Spain, surrounded with mountain ranges. This is a town rich in history, a birthplace of Pablo Picasso. We were not just passive participants of the Congress. We presented the Osteology Academy Zlín o.p.s. together with Mediekos Clinics s.r.o. and our co-partners Mediekos Laboratories s.r.o. at our exhibition stand, thanks to being offered a stand location at the CNS village which was a part of the Congress. It was not easy to deliver all the necessary expository material all the way to Malaga but we were rewarded with active audience and their attention. Our stand was composed of four roll-ups depicting a structure of the OAZ o.p.s., stating a number of our patients (45 000), providing a display of our workplace locations within the Moravian regions (Zlín, Ostrava, Bruntál, Uherské Hradiště, Vsetín), patients' activities, WOD activities, lectures and also an art exhibition conducted by the Art therapy clinic. Artwork done by our patients (age 50 to 85) was much appreciated, our calendars, postcards and small pictures were given out to the congress participants. Some visitors were pleasantly surprised to hear that our organisation finished the Capture the Fracture program. Its individual steps were presented in one of our roll-ups and also in a video on a computer screen. We also took part in the poster display with three medical research reports. The authors of the conducted research were: Pavel Novosad, Petr Hrdý, Petr Fojtík, Hana Novotná, Martin Běhal, Michal Zemánek, Miroslav Janura, Kateřina Janurová, and Pavel Horák. We are proud to say that our presentations were accepted with compliments. We managed to display our work and the town of Zlin with dignity. |
