| IOF-ECCEO 13 EUROPEAN CONGRESS ON OSTEOPOROSIS AND OSTEOARTHRITIS Wednesday, April 17, 2013 – Saturday, April 20, 2013 The annual event of European Congress on Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis (ESCEO 13-IOF) took place in Rome on April 17–20, 2013 at the Cavalieri Hotel. We assess the event as outstandingly successful for our organisation. All the submitted abstracts were accepted and we presented all the six posters at the poster section. See the attachment. The CNS, Committee of National Societies and Patient Societies Section of IOF invited us to report on WOD 2012 activities. Mgr. Hana Atcheson delivered a presentation on this topic during a meeting at the section for CNS members. She also presented our DVDs which she handed out to the meeting participants. The main contribution was delivered by MUDr. Pavel Novosad during a special plenary session of the Committee of National Societies. MUDr. Novosad presented a common project of the Osteological Centre and the Neurosurgical Department of T. Bata Hospital in Zlin.
